- History meets boutique style: The Wood Norton is a recently revamped Grade II listed boutique hotel in the Vale of Evesham, with a tale or two to tell. Once a hunting lodge, then a listening post during the Cold War, it was more recently used by the BBC as a Doctor Who location.
- Award-winning fare: The AA Rosette-adorned restaurant makes a playful twist on British cuisine, and you couldn't ask for a better setting than the impressive dining room with its view of the grounds. Elsewhere, there's also a swanky bar where you can sip cocktails and afternoon tea from the comfort of a plush armchair.
- See the sights: It is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, or even take a hot air balloon tour over the area. All this and you're under an hour's drive from the bright lights of Birmingham and equidistant from Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham. The Wood Norton pocketed a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence.
Amenities
- Fishing (chargeable)
