UEFA Champions League Competition Terms and Conditions
1- The promoter is: OPPO Mobile UK Ltd whose registered office is at 258 Bath Rd, Slough SL1 4DX (“OPPO”).
2- The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of OPPO Mobile UK Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the Competition.
3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
4- By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5- To enter this Competition you must-
a) Subscribe to our OPPO Store newsletter
b) Join our exclusive OPPO Connect Facebook Group
c) Comment on the UEFA Merch Giveaway post on OPPO Connect (Pinned announcement)
6- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7- Closing date for entry will be 14th April 2023. After this date, the no further entries to the Competition will be permitted.
8- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9-A total of 30 winners (see below for prize tier details) will be selected randomly from the valid entries and will be contacted before 28/04/2023 via email or social media message, who will have five (5) working days to respond. If no response is received in this time a new winner will be chosen. (the “Winner”)
10- The Winners will receive the following:
- First (1st) Prize- 10 Winners will receive 1x UEFA Champions League x OPPO Backpack and Gift Box (T-Shirt, Sports Water Bottle & Cap)
- Second (2nd) prize- 5 Winners will receive 1x UEFA Champions League x OPPO Gift Box (T-Shirt, Sports Water Bottle & Cap)
- Third (3rd) Prize- 15 Winners will receive a UEFA Champions League x OPPO Sports Water Bottle.
11 - Taxes
The value of the Prize shall be based on applicable market fares at the point of origin on the date of issue of the tickets and may be disclosed by the OPPO where required by law for tax purposes. The Winner is solely liable for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes including but not limited to, personal tax, service tax and other entertainment tax due as a result of winning the Prize and OPPO accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising as a result of the Prize.
12 - Personal Information
OPPO collects and uses the qualifying entrants’ personal information (the “Data”) in order to conduct the Competition and any related marketing and promotional activity and may, for this purpose, disclose or transmit such information to third parties rendering services in relation to the Competition. OPPO undertakes to collect, process, store, save and transfer the Data in compliance with relevant data protection legislation in force from time to time. By entering the Competition and providing the Data the qualifying entrant authorises OPPO to collect and process the Data in this manner. The Winners agree to participate in such reasonable publicity as may be requested by OPPO. The Winners agree to the publication of their respective name and country in connection with the Competition.
13 - OPPO Liability
OPPO will not be liable to perform any of its obligations under these Terms where it is unable to do so as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure. OPPO accepts no liability (and excludes all liability) for any loss of profit, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings or for special, direct, indirect or consequential loss of any nature howsoever arising. OPPO accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Winner or, where applicable, the guest as a result of entering or participating in the Competition or accepting the Prize. This exclusion does not include any liability for death or personal injury caused solely by the negligence of OPPO. Qualifying entrants enter the Competition at their own risk and agree to indemnify OPPO against all costs, losses, damages, expenses, and liabilities (including for loss of reputation and goodwill and professional advisors' fees) and any claim arising from their own actions in any way in connection with the Competition or a breach of their obligations hereunder.
14 - General
Participation in the Competition does not confer on the entrant any rights in or over any intellectual property arising in connection with the Competition. Any Terms which are held to be invalid in any jurisdiction shall whenever allowed by the context be deemed to be replaced by such valid and enforceable terms and conditions whose contents are as close as permissible to those of the invalid or unenforceable Terms. OPPO reserves the right to modify or vary the Competition and/or these Terms at any time. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of England, and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising from or in connection with them.
15- We hold no responsibility in the occasion which winners are unable to attend. (For example- Cancellation of Roland-Garros event, refusal of entry, travel restrictions, illness etc.)
16- The selection by OPPO as to the Winner shall be final. OPPO may withdraw the competition at any time at its discretion.
