Our expert artisan coppersmiths meticulously handcraft each Moreno fire pit from brand new sheets of pure virgin copper. Using traditional techniques, every dimple is applied by hand, ensuring unparalleled quality and detail.
Unlike any other fire pit on the market, some of our designs feature an added stainless steel welded skeleton sub-frame, enhancing rigidity and durability, making Moreno fire pits perfect for both residential and commercial installations.
After the construction process, a two-part proprietary chemical patina is hand-applied to accelerate the aging process, resulting in a beautiful dark bronze finish. Finally, an all-natural oil and wax polish are applied to seal and protect the fire pit, creating a stunning work of functional art.

Burner System Configurations
Every Moreno fire feature offers a variety of gas burner system configurations available in both Natural Gas and Propane. Additionally, all burner systems are compatible with your favorite fire glass, ceramic log stacks, ceramic fire balls or shapes, and lava stones.The possibilities are endless!
The base level burner system for every Moreno fire pit and fire bowl includes a commercial quality Starfire Designs fire ring, which is engineered to last for years and give you an impressive, amazing flame.
How to Ignite : Simply turn the key valve that is conveniently placed on the side of your fire feature with one hand, while simultaneously using a long stick lighter to ignite the gas. Once lit, you can adjust the flame to your desired height.
All the same benefits of our base level burner system, but with the added convenience of a battery operated push button ignitor! The key valve and ignitor button are strategically placed right next to each other for super easy operation.
How to Ignite : Simply turn the key valve on and push the button. This creates a spark on the burner system igniting the flame. Once lit, you can adjust the flame to your desired height.
An absolute must for your Smart Home integration or commercial installation. Adding an electronic ignition eliminates the hassle of manually lighting your fire feature and, more importantly, adds extra levels of safety.
How to Ignite : There are multiple ways to integrate your electronic ignition to light your fire feature, such as using a simple wall switch, using a timer so the fire pit shuts off automatically, or our favorite, using the convenience of a mobile app!

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?
No. These fire pits do not have an access door, nor are they tall enough to house a propane tank. Although these can be used with propane, the propane gas line needs to be “stubbed”, or hard lined, inside the fire pit or fire bowl. Alternatively, you can use a BBQ propane tank off to the side and run a gas hose on your deck over to the fire pit.
Copper starts off as a shiny metal (think new copper penny), but eventually patinas over time. We “accelerate” this process by using our own proprietary patina that forces the copper to turn bronze. We then seal it in using a natural oil and wax protectant. If left untreated, the copper can start to turn different colors depending on location, i.e. near the ocean, desert, mountains, etc. To help prevent your feature from turning green, make sure to maintain in regularly.
We designed and engineered the Moreno to be an heirloom piece. Although certain components (ignitors, batteries, etc.) may need to be replaced at some point in the future, you can expect a lifetime of use from your Moreno feature. Copper is a wonderful material that, if properly cared for, can last forever.
Most installations can be done in less than an hour. Although we always recommend that a licensed professional does your gas hook up, your Moreno ships with a set of instructions with minimal installation required. Assuming your gas and electric utilities are stubbed up and ready to go, all you need to do is set the fire pit over these, hook up the utilities, and connect the burner. Always test first, then place your fire glass or other decorative burner topping over the burner and enjoy!
We are based out of Temecula, California and try to ship every Moreno order within 2-4 business days. Most configurations are ready to go, but other special order configurations may require extra time to prepare. Once your order is ready to ship, expect a transit time of 2-7 days, depending on where in the USA you live.
